Chris Rider is the Thomas C. Kinnear Professor and Associate Professor of Strategy at the University of Michigan’s Ross School of Business. He is a social scientist who studies how strategic corporate behavior shapes entrepreneurial activity and societal inequality. He has delivered executive education courses for clients across the world on topics including strategic management, leadership, equity analytics, entrepreneurship, and ethics. He is an Associate Editor of Administrative Science Quarterly and previously served on the faculties of Emory University, Georgetown University, and the University of Chicago. He holds a PhD from the University of California, Berkeley; an MBA from the University of Chicago; and a BA from Johns Hopkins University. He is currently composing teaching cases focused on equity analytics and global strategy.
