David Canter was formerly Senior Associate Vice President and Executive Director, Univerity of Michigan North Campus Research Complex, retiring in 2018. Other previous positions include: Director of Healthcare at The William Davidson Institute at the University of Michigan; Senior Vice President of Pfizer Global Research and Development, Director of the Institut de Recherche et Development Jouveinal in Paris, and Vice President Drug Development for Parke-Davis/Warner-Lambert. He is a graduate of Cambridge and Liverpool Universities, a Fellow of the Royal College of Surgeons, and a member of the Faculty of Pharmaceutical Physicians.
