Jandi is a second year doctoral student at the University of Michigan’s Center for the Study of Higher and Postsecondary Education. Her research focuses on the non-monetary benefits of higher education.  Specifically, she is interested in how colleges and universities can better support students in cultivating lives of purpose and pursuing meaningful work.  Prior to joining the University of Michigan, Jandi worked in strategic planning and career development at the University of Chicago and conducted research for Northwestern University’s Office of Change Management. Jandi holds a bachelor’s degree from the University of Illinois in Urbana-Champaign and a master’s degree from Northwestern University. In her free time, she enjoys walks with her husband and son, yoga, and hiking.
